Demand for Updated Course Mushrooms
A hugely informative course on Mushroom Production has just got better. This successful course, which has evolved over some twenty years, has undergone another extensive revision. It takes the guess work out of everything you need to know about how to grow mushrooms, whether on a small or large scale. Included in the course is; mushroom identification, distinguishing edible fungi, mushroom culture, spawn production, making and casing growing beds, optimal growing conditions, pest and disease control, harvesting, storage, use of mushrooms, and marketing. Although the course focuses on the Agaricus or Champignon due to its global popularity, other commercially grown mushrooms are also reviewed in order that the student develops a broad understanding of how to cultivate all types of commercial fungi.
