Do Pigs Fly?
The answer is, of course, they don’t. What is flying though is a recently revised course about Pig Management by ACS Distance Education. This course is aimed as much at those concerned with self-sufficiency or hobbyists as it is those in commercial production. This informative course instructs the student on appropriate breeding and selection techniques for the production of pork or bacon. To this end, pig biology, diseases and feeding are discussed in depth as well as litter management and record keeping. A whole range of different breeds are included to appeal to the specialist breeder and graduates are certain to improve their knowledge and skill base.
If you have ever considered breeding pigs or already do so you might like to find out more at: http://www.acs.edu.au/courses/Pigs-177.aspx
